GUI Design for .Net Developers
Maxim Alexandrovich
This lecture will present some useful-practical techniques for GUI design by using “state-of-art’ technologies e.g.: WPF, Silverlight, WinForms, etc.
I’ll present very realistic workflow for GUI design and will speak about real problems and solutions for .Net developers. For example: many developers that design and build GUI aren’t graphic designers and never learned basics of usability, proper UX design and etc. I’ll present some real-life cases for good and simple. Another issue that can be exposed is: “WinForms” aren’t dead, we have WPF for reach UI, and WinForms for RIA/Enterprise software (like banking, insurance, etc), also the next version of WinForms can be based on collection of business controls made in WPF.
